typical woman driver of course..lol---Don't tell that to Janeway.
She didn't crash in "Disaster".
Troi probably always took a lot of shit for not distancing herself from her aristocratic belonging on Betazed. Jellico seemed to start her on the road when he ordered her to start wearing sciences blue rather than her civvies (as a practicing psychologist she probably wanted to seem exceptionally approachable than, say, the medical staff). She eventually decided to make the transition from staff officer to line officer. She actually at one point became a noted expert on the Romulans ProfessorTrek 17:40, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
To be fair, she didn't exactly have a choice either time she crashed. In Generations, the explosion knocked out the engines and she was barely able to land it intact, in Nemesis, Picard ordered her to ram the Scimitar.Cpthunt 03:42, August 15, 2011 (UTC)
I have never seen Troi at Ops. "They" crashed.
In Star Trek: Generations, she was about use full impulse right when the warp core breach occured. She was likely following protocal, such as the one that prevents a starship from using impulse engines while in spacedock. If it wasn't for protocal, she would have stopped using thrusters and engaged full impulse sooner.
