I'd suggest watching the episode, but according to this transcript they were: "Her life could have been as rich as any woman's, if only. If only." 31dot (talk) 09:30, December 28, 2012 (UTC)

The last Star Trek episode "Turnabout Intruder" aired on Tuesday, June 3, 1969.  Oddly enough, the last scene took place in a corrior, not on the bridge.  Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and Bones are present.  In true Kirk fashion, he expresses concern for someone who just tried to kill him. Kirk states "I didn't want to destroy her." Spock responds with his last words on the show, "I'm sure we all understand that, Captain."  Kirk laments the tragedy of Janice Lester's obsession by stating "Her life could have been as rich as any woman's, if only.  If only."  Kirk, Spock, and Scotty slowly head toward the turbolift and into history. Forty-seven days later, Neil and Buzz arrived at Tranquility Base.  Admiral William Thomas Riker (talk) 18:23, December 31, 2012 (UTC)
