Welcome to Star Trek Answers. What would you like to know?

In all eras of Trek, the departmental color for Sciences is blue.

No this is not quite so as I recall Jadzia Dax was a science officer and her uniform was green.

Yes, Jadzia Dax's science uniform was blue. If you were seeing it as green, I suspect your television's color needs adjusting.

Didn't Dr. Crusher have a blue uniform?

Not only did Doctor Crusher wear a blue sciences uniform, she often wore a blue "white coat", with her combadge where the embroidered name usually is located on the garment. It was probably her way of asserting herself as Chief Medical Officer ProfessorTrek 04:46, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

Science uniforms have always been a shade of blue, however, the particular shade changed from time to time as the fabric changed, hence you have anomalies where characters may wear a slightly different color uniform, this was particularly common on TNG, because the original Science uniforms were blue spandex, and they were later replaced by looser fitting teal uniforms for the main characters, but the older uniforms continued to be used by background characters for the remainder of the series. To make matters even more confusing, these uniforms would later be modified to more closely resemble the new uniforms while retaining their old blue color.Cpthunt 05:25, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
