Deleting pages Edit

Thanks for marking pages that need to be deleted. To save yourself from creating a talk page simply to mark a page for deletion, you can put {{delete|type reason here}} in the page that needs deletion. The deletion template invites those who might disagree to comment on the talk page, but if no one does, all the easier. 31dot 02:44, May 6, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks 31dot for explaining the deletion process. I'm trying to get removed any obvious non-Trek questions or duplicates that show up near one another. BTW any good instruction pages on how to delete, redirect, merge ect on Star Trek Answers? I have lots of Trek knowledge but my computer skills are somewhat lacking. There seems to be some help here, though as we go on we may want to add to it or otherwise change it when we figure out what we need there. I can tell you a couple things; you have to be an admin to delete a page, as well as to merge them(because it requires deleting a page) You can redirect a page by typing this at the top(if no one has answered it yet): #redirect [[type destination page title here]] 31dot 09:41, May 7, 2012 (UTC)
