In the series, they only mentioned two, but in the ENT relaunch books there are at least six. Each one named for one of the NASA space shuttles: Enterprise, Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour; NX-01 through NX-06 respectively. All but Enterprise and Endeavour were destroyed, or reported missing in the case of Columbia, during the Earth-Romulan War, these books suggested that production of the class ended after Endeavour in favor of cheaper Daedalus class ships. Another book, TNG: Indistinguishable From Magic, claims that fifteen or so more were built late in the war.-Cpthunt (talk) 04:01, September 23, 2012 (UTC)

The mirror universe built at least 9. The NX-09 Avenger appeared in ENT: In a Mirror Darkly. 19:37, September 24, 2012 (UTC)

In "Fortunate Son", Travis mentioned there were three more ships on the drawing boards. One of those turned out to be Columbia, which was launched in "Affliction"; the identities of the other two, or whether any more were built, is unknown. - Mitchz95 (talk) 00:22, September 26, 2012 (UTC)
